The 3rd Annual 2017 West Virginia Social Studies Conference will be hosted by the West Virginia Council for Social Studies. At the conference you will find opportunities to engage and interact with Social Studies educators from across West Virginia who have designed presentation sessions to inform, challenge, inspire, and above all to enjoy! 


Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. and run until 8:30 on the day of the conference. To register online, beforehand, please follow the link below.

Additional Program Offering - June 13

Additionally, the West Virginia Council for Social Studies will be sponsoring a free Holocaust training program, "Echoes and Reflections", on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the Edison Staff Development Center. This program is a collaborative effort between the Anti-Defamation League, USC Shoah Foundation, and Yad Vashem. Participants will receive about $100 worth of materials.
